The staff at Murphy Trailer Sales includes:
Bruce founded the business in 1984. He was at that time running a successful quarter horse training operation and saw the need for a local trailer dealership. He took advantage and started out on the path. He was fortunate enough to find enough success in the trailer business that he went into it full time and gave up training horses. In 2003 he moved the trailer sales from its original location in Linden, IN to its current location in Crawfordsville, IN. The new location was a key promoter to the growth of the business. What started out 19 years before with just a handful of trailers and used trucks has grown to an average inventory of around 200 trailers.
Bruce and his wife Lori have a son Brice and a daughter, Paige. Both were active in showing a variety of livestock and are both current employees at the business as well. Bruce now enjoys breeding and racing thoroughbred racehorses & he is an active board member for the Indiana Thoroughbred Owners & Breeders Association. Bruce accredits most of his success to making sure that the customer leaves his door happier than they were when they walked in, as he knows that repeat customers and customer referrals are a large key to a successful operation.
Brice was born into the business in 1986. He has grown up around every sort of trailer his whole life. The Murphy Family competitively exhibited livestock on the local, state and national levels as Brice was growing up and that has helped carve a path for him in the showstock sector of the trailer business. Having hauled and exhibited multiple species he has seen what does and doesn’t work and is very knowledgeable about the livestock trailer business. He is married to his wife Anna and together they have 3 children, Kash, Kolbi & Kasyn. The kids are starting out their livestock showing career and have began exhibiting pigs at some local and national shows. The family has also recently started a small Boer goat herd with plans for it to evolve into a future 4-H project for the children as well.

Rob started with the company in 1990. Through his tenure he has gained a vast knowledge of the trailer industry. Throughout the years he has seen many fads come and go and has taken those experiences of what does and doesn’t work and uses them to help the customer make the best decision for both their personal safety and the well being of whatever it is that they are hauling. He is married to his wife Amy and they have a wonderful son, Ethan.
